Why you will love these Air Fryer Apples:

  • Big flavor, light touch. You get that classic buttery, spiced apple taste without drowning everything in a stick of butter. It’s surprisingly rich for how simple it is.
  • Done in 10 minutes flat. A quick toss, into the basket, and you’re basically free. No babysitting a pan on the stove.
  • Works for any meal. Breakfast? Yes. Dinner side? Absolutely. Dessert? A scoop of ice cream on top and you’re golden.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Apples — Gala, Fuji, or Honeycrisp are ideal. Golden Delicious and Pink Lady work too. Prefer tart? Go with Granny Smith. Peeling is totally optional.
  • Cinnamon — The real star here. Add a pinch of nutmeg or apple pie spice if you’re feeling it.
  • Neutral cooking oil — Canola works well. Coconut oil is a great swap.
  • Vanilla extract — Just a splash for warmth.
  • Butter — A small amount goes a long way for that rich, glossy finish.
  • Sweetener — White sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, or honey all work. Adjust to your taste.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

There’s not much effort involved in preparing these air-fried apples. Simply follow these easy steps:

Serve immediately and enjoy.

Recipe Tips

Slice right before cooking. Apples brown fast once cut, so don’t prep them too far ahead.

Want more sauce? Add an extra tablespoon or two of melted butter, or swap the sugar for maple syrup.

Watch the clock. Every air fryer runs a little differently. After the halfway mark, peek every couple of minutes so nothing overcooks.

Recipe Storage Recommendations:

Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30–60 seconds, or back in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–4 minutes.

Freezer: Freeze in a sealed container for up to 3 months. Thaw before reheating, and add a little fresh melted butter before serving.
