Servings 10 Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless country style pork ribs room temperature and patted dry
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing the basket
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand or homemade
  • 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat

Notes

  • Don't walk away from the air fryer. This cut of pork can go from perfect to overdone pretty quickly. Once you've flipped the ribs, check on them often.
  • Fat is your friend. Choose ribs with visible marbling. You can always trim a little excess fat before cooking, but leaving most of it on is what gives you that tender, flavorful bite.
  • Always use a meat thermometer. Pork is safe to eat at 145°F. A little pink in the center is completely normal — the thermometer is the only reliable way to know when they're truly done.
