Total Time 20 minutes mins
- 1 loaf French baguette sliced into ½-inch pieces
- 8 oz Brie cheese thinly sliced
- 1 large Honeycrisp apple thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts optional
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves optional, for garnish
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper optional
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with the sliced baguette.
Brush both sides of each baguette slice lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
Top each warm crostini with a slice of Brie cheese.
Add thin apple slices over the Brie.
Drizzle with honey evenly over each crostini.
Sprinkle with walnuts, thyme, and black pepper if using.
Serve immediately while the bread is crisp and the Brie is soft.
- Use Honeycrisp, Gala, or Pink Lady apples for the best flavor and crunch.
- Assemble the crostini just before serving to keep the bread crisp.
- Leave the Brie rind on or remove it based on your preference.
- Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra depth of flavor.
- Toast the bread until lightly golden—not overly hard—for the best texture.
