Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup fresh berries
  • 1 medium medium banana
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • ¼ cup granola
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Optional Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add the Greek yogurt, protein powder, chia seeds, and milk to a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  • Check the consistency and add another small splash of milk if the mixture is too thick. The yogurt should remain thick and creamy rather than runny.
  • Fold in some of the fresh berries and sliced banana, or reserve all the fruit for adding in the morning.
  • Divide the yogurt mixture between airtight containers. Cover and refrigerate overnight, allowing the chia seeds to absorb moisture and thicken the mixture.
  • In the morning, stir the yogurt mixture. Add peanut butter, fresh fruit, granola, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use Thick Greek Yogurt: For the creamiest texture, choose a thick Greek yogurt. If your yogurt is especially thick, add a small splash of milk to reach your preferred consistency.
  • Adjust the Sweetness: Protein powders can vary in sweetness, so taste the mixture before adding honey or maple syrup. You can easily make the bowl less sweet if preferred.
  • Add Crunch Before Serving: Keep granola, almonds, and other crunchy toppings separate until you're ready to eat. This helps them stay crisp instead of becoming soft overnight.
  • Make It Your Own: Switch up the toppings with different berries, banana, nuts, nut butter, coconut, or cacao nibs. It's an easy way to create new flavors throughout the week.
  • Best for Meal Prep: Prepare the yogurt mixture in individual airtight containers and refrigerate overnight. For the best taste and texture, enjoy within 2–3 days
