Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs about 2–2.5 lbs total
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin preferred
  • 3 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese finely grated holds better than shredded
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs panko or regular; gluten-free works too
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • olive oil spray or brush of oil for greasing basket

Notes

  • Try to use chicken thighs that are roughly the same size. Uneven pieces cook unevenly — simple as that. If one thigh is noticeably larger, just plan on pulling the others when they're done and letting the big one ride a little longer.
  • Every air fryer is a little different. Even two of the same model can run at slightly different temperatures. Get familiar with yours and use the internal temperature as your guide, not just the timer.
